My Role: Working on AI-assisted solutions to improve energy efficiency in video streaming, including machine learning-based encoding optimization and sustainable adaptive streaming pipelines.
GAIA aims to develop a next-generation video platform that integrates artificial intelligence to minimize energy consumption throughout the video streaming lifecycle — from encoding and transcoding to delivery and playback.
ATHENA — Adaptive Streaming over HTTP and Emerging Networked Multimedia Services

My Role: Working on AI-assisted solutions to improve energy efficiency in video streaming within the context of network-assisted and edge-cloud video delivery systems.
ATHENA focuses on building and validating frameworks for network-assisted adaptive video delivery, leveraging software-defined networking (SDN), network function virtualization (NFV), and computing resources distributed across edge and cloud infrastructure.
